This picture looks very similar to this picture here by Mr. Manu Singh. The loco is the same too and i guess the location as well. Even the BCNA wagons look the same ;-)! Deja-vu!!!

Train is delayed by exactly 2 hours (if the time on EXIF is correct). Monsoon time arrival at Panvel is 2:30 pm, otherwise its 11 am

A nicely captured pic! The clouds serving as a beautiful background!

Excellent late afternoon lighting, Binai! Brings out the ERS colours nicely.

Last month I traveld by this train from Cannore to Panvel. Train was already delayed by 1 hour at CAN and when I enquired about arrival time at Panvel, coach attendant informed me it is 14:30 and yes it turned out to be correct. Train reached Panvel at exactly 14:30 and departed within 5-7 min.

It's been so long to see a beautiful ERS baby on the screen. Got a doubt do the KSK go all the way from Kochuveli to Chandigarh with the same diesel? Then this might be the longest diesel run right??

Dear Deepak, I think ERS loco is till BRC. From there a WAP-5 or WAP-4 takes over.

The KCVL-CDG KSK always arrives late at PNVL whereas CDG-KCVL KSK is always before time!
