Good Catch.
Now, does this variation in the heights of the CBCs have anything to do in the frequent uncoupling of CBC rakes as has happened recently with AP, Charminar & Godavari expresses.

Rohit while i accept the wap4 has more brawn= "weight" ,it has no "brains" like the wap5 nor the advancements which the wap5 has,and least the comfort which a p5 offers at times only brawn does not matter..

MSM
Good stuff. I guess WAP-5's lower centre of gravity also helps in stability at higher speeds.

Laksh, despite being an ardent P4 fan, I wouldn't even debate on the "brawn" aspect. With 4 TMs and axles, 2 less than the P4, the P5 still packs more punch when it comes to matters of HP delivered. Still, one of the best photographs and captions I've seen in a long time!

I dont know about power.. IMO, the P4 can whack the P5 on that front because of the sheer weight.. Nice photo Shanx..
