Looks like the bulkhead seat in an aircraft; one cannot really stretch legs well; I would hate to have any of these three seats, especially given the long length of the journey...

Perhaps this would be ideal for a family of three or TTEs who often shuffle their duties at intermidiate stations or provide this for Handicapped people who can be comfortable for easy exit! - Varun Dambal

Well i guess railfans would use this to just 'sleep'. Otherwise we're half the time at the door!!
