One passenger was killed and 22 others were injured, including one seriously, when the engine and six bogies of the Amrapali Express jumped off the tracks near Pasraha station in Bihar's Khagaria district on October 07, 2009 night. The train derailed near Pasraha station where a ditch was formed due to water-logging alongside the down line, East Central Railway sources said. ECR is preparing a new down line in that area, abandoning the existing down line. (Santulan Mahanta)
