Unique in India perhaps, but there are a couple of places such as Belonia and Hili where the town is in India and the station is in Bangladesh.

Some years ago, this island had no road connection with the mainland and the only way to get there was by train or boat.

Indeed, the escalators at New Delhi were inaugurated with great publicity by the then Railway Minister R.V. Paswan sometime in the late 90s. They don't seem to work most of the time
