Harsh, this bridge will ultimately serve double line after the road-cum-rail bridge reaches end of its lifetime. Have a look at http://www.irfca.org/gallery/GeneralScenes/Godavari/newgodb4.jpg.html You will find that there is already ample space for a second line next to the present line. Only the platform needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Also there Godavari-Rajahmundry section is a double line.
