The BG alignment is slightly off the old MG line at MKL, to avoid sharper curves. Hence one can see the old alignment quite a bit in the section.

Yep, the DP4 against the backdrop of the hill, along with the full length of the rake, makes this pic quite interesting.

The train apparently seems to be negotiating a curve, as to me, it seems to be leaning slightly to the left. May even be that at the right of the picture what is visible is part of a retaining wall, may even be of a viaduct.
