Reminds you of the long freighters in the outbacks of Australia. The dust on the windscreen and clear blue sky completes the picture.

TN @ NGP

Arzan, ever since the TN (along with AP and KK) Express was introduced in the late 70s, the stops were Jhansi, Bhopal, Nagpur, Vijayawada. I do not recall any train at any time skipping Nagpur. Durontos do not have commercial stops today, but there are technical halts.

TN

Mismatching was a norm as late as 1997, the year when I travelled in TN for the first time and the coach in which we travelled was a Green / Yellow coach. Ofcourse, we felt so special.

Thanks a lot Bharath for this one - this location is special for me. I have spent innumerable evenings at this spot watching trains (and developing life-long love for them) long before I knew what a "railfan" and IRFCA is.

TN

The curve reminds me of Sewagram for some reason. Thanks for these pics, Ujjwal!

TN @ NGP

I do not think the TN used to skip Nagpur at any point since its introduction. Would it be possible to provide some schedules that prove this?
