Perhaps the line is too low. Or perhaps a Faraday Cage type structure was built to prevent induction from frying electronics in the loco and the train. I have never seen such an elaborate set up just to prevent the lines from falling on trains or tracks. The entire structure is grounded - you can see the wires leading to the ground.

Is there a power transmission line crossing the tracks?That could be the reason for erecting these gantries to protect the track in case a cable breaks from the overhead line.Yes,I know that there must be hundreds of such crossings over all of the railways but why take this measure at this location?Maybe,the railways have had a bad experience with this particular line?Maybe its more prone to breaking or maybe its an EHV line which rates more precautions?
