Great shot. It's a good thing that it was a red loco with a red rake to lend a third colour to the image. Imagine a Green WAG9 or a Blue WAG7 with a blue BOXNL rake!

Would have been a fantastic picture, except for the irritating text and dark band at the bottom that completely distracts the viewer from the beauty of the image. Can we have a version of this image without all this unnecessary embellishment?

Note the presence of an OHE mast in the middle of the tracks.This is very unusual on a double line mainline but may have been necessitated by the sharp curve,to pull the catenary to the requisite position above the track.
