is this a high speed panto itself??but still there is a lack of dual collector rods..hmm..confusing..as said by Gautam..seems like a hybrid pantograph.

Great Picture Mamaji.... but a day too late I would say, else would have straight-away got nominated for the current Spotlight Poll (Night Pictures theme) & would have even won the same hands-down" Dilip Udassi

Great shot mamu. Brilliant observation Gautam. But these criss crossing bars dont look exactly like those high speed webbed ones do they?

I noticed the similarity with the old pantos too but then look closely and you can see faintly 2 criss-crossing bars like in the web-like newer-style pantos, in addition to the straight one down the middle. These seem to be some sort of a hybrid variety that CLW seems to have come up with! Maybe my eyes are playing tricks again but look closely at 22715 courtesy Mamu, (http://www.irfca.org/gallery/Uploads/100_3088.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=1) and 22712 courtesy Jimmy, (http://www.irfca.org/gallery/Uploads/IMG_0023.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=1).

I agree. These liveries are very hard to catch! Great job.

Excellent photo. This was undoubtedly the best WAP4 action of the day.Really enjoyed a close look of JHS WAP4.The loco just looks purely amazing in its Rajdhani livery.

Unfortunately this loco ( when it was with SRC) had a very sensitively set QD which used to lead to some uncalled for regressions at crucial moments when hauling power is required to be at it's peak. Hope the people at TATA correct this.

Yes it is a transfer from SRC. Check out this picture when it was in SRC. You will find loads of other picture's of 22600 when it was in SRC other than the one i linked.

I think 22600 is a transfer from Santragachi shed. Can anyone confirm this?
