What is mysterious about the location? This is the entrance of Bangalore Cantt. station from the City station side.

This was a trial run for 2 days, as the Sunday train from Bangalore left with its usual link, KJM WDM-3a. Well, I really hope WDP-4 is employed on this link soon.

Some more on the loco and the photo - The paint job and contour shaping of this loco was designed solely by Mr. Dasarathy. This is the last loco he officially flagged off before leaving railways. He named this loco "Baaz" to give it a more masculine name, than the regular feminine names. Note the superb angle and lighting in which he has taken the photo.

They haul overnight trains, during the day they don't idle but work passengers and the Shatabdi over short distances.
