I don't find anything different, but comparing with
this
image, it seems as if they have provided more space between the shell and the bogies, maybe for much more smoother adjustments while on curves or gradients?

Thanx Vibin for taking the photo of this WDG4. This was the same loco spotted at MTN two weeks back. The DDR SBC Chalukya was hauled by a Pune WDM3A + a dead WDG4 12141.

AFAIK, many WDG4s do not have buffers.

Nice zoomed picture of the entire train. If the SHF would have been facing the camera it would still have been better.

Looks like this loco was a part of a MU pair. MU cable left on the locomotive
