Appu, I fancy none of your suggestions. Sadly, I do not have one to offer either :-) From the looks, the dual cab WDP-4Ds are looking excellent. I wonder what went on to balance the weight in design this beast.

Why so much dirt? Are the cabs not properly sealed? The arrangement of handles and screens make the cab less cluttered. Any idea if the cab is AC?

High time that the IRFCA gave the EMD species a proper railfanning name - pigs (snout at the approximate place on the face), mewers [they mew!], scooters (2 stroke power)...
While contemplating the mewing angle, the species should not be called after cats as it refers to a Caterpillar diesel, which the EMD family is not. I suppose we could call it by the desi nomenclature for the animal that mews - Billi.

Despite the dirt, this control stand has an excellent finish - the TFT screen so efficiently unclutters the area.

Congratulations to Tamish for being the first railfan to get detailed views of these new series. I noticed that the first pics were of serial number 40014 while this is 40026.
