The 'two headed pig' has a 'beacon' device on the far side roof, also seen on Itarsi's
WDP4B # 40041
This is obviously a communication device, either for a radio or for the ACD.

The
older EMD locos
have 'bay windows' with transparent edges bulging out of the cab to improve the long hood visibility. This is an example of the newer series that have wider cabs and the bay windows are replaced with larger long hood windscreens.
