I remember the Cholan departing from Egmore in the 80's. I loved all your pictures. Being from Madras I spent a lot of time during vacations watching trains on this very line from when they were all MG.

This is magnificant WCM1 Jumbo. I am a great fan of this loco. I am thankful Vijay BAlasubramanian for this beautiful photograph. The great season for travel Bhore ghat is Aug-sept when one can see the loco cutting the curtain of clouds. If its DQ its too beautiful.
