Twin WCAMs? The Nagercoil Exp is a 17-18 coach rake, why does it need twin locos?
Did you happen to notice if the second loco was dead or had its panto up? I can't make out from the photo.

Is that pipe going right over the mechanism of the switch so the indicator is on the other side?

Thats a YDM4 metre gauge loco and not a WDM4

I travelled once by this train (NZM - MAS) and I don't recall seeing it then. It would have been the saving grace of an otherwise miserable journey.
