Well...rather back-dated looking COntrol Console for a highly updated locomotive...Our WAG 9,WAP 5 and WAP 7 electrics have slimline dashboards...

Lovely slide...I wish a WAG 6C slide be there complete with exposure of its Co-Co bogies

I see this WDG 4 with a Bufferless Bufferbeam,as featured in the original GM-EMD Design..and a similar slide is there in my Siemens Catalogue...Siemens partnered GM-EMD for these loco.

Well,as far as these Hitachi built electrics are concerned, they came to India without buffers, and for sometime on the SER's KK Line, worked that way...You would be amazed to see that some WAG 5s ran on this route without side buffers and they looked curious.

Is it a new WAG6, because 244,000 kms doesn't seem to be a lot?

Rare to see a VB rake. Also the loco does not seem to have air-brakes.

It seems quite obvious; the train is just coming out of a tunnel & seems to be heading into another one.
