Nice photo in a overcast environment. I am 100% sure the train is 2980 JAIPUR BDTS SUPERFAST EXPRESS. There was a name plate also mentioning 2979 MUMBAI-JAIPUR-MUMBAI on that train. Thanks a lot Jimmy for your encouraging words. This train I have traveled only once from Vapi to Virar & I have really enjoyed a great 105+kph run in 1995. The train passed at 70kph due to a green signal given by the station master in the last minute allowing the driver to apply brakes & making it pass at slow speed. The loco is indeed looking handsome in this new paint design. Good photo Anamitra. WCAM1 did 100kph with 24coaches with utmost ease.
