Breathtaking photo. It looks like I am seeing Google Earth right now and searching for different locations. Posted by Arzan Kotval on 2008 Dec 03 08:10:28 +0000 |

There used to be one rake between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Rewari not so long ago. After GC it was split and half the rake was sent to Mhow while the other half to Jaunpur-Aunrihar in UP.I don't know if there are any MG routes in Bihar on which DMU's ply - can't be more than one. Actually there are other busier MG only stations still - Pilibhit, Mailani and Bhojipura Jns come to mind. Even Rangapara North and Badarpur are bigger than Mhow, if not busier. Posted by Mohan Bhuyan on 2008 Dec 03 07:15:21 +0000 |

No, this is a rail only bridge. A charming old road bridge is just upstream of this one and a modern but unused monstrosity has been built upstream of that. I have read that the rail bridge was built BG-ready - certainly it's wide enough to hold a BG track. Posted by Mohan Bhuyan on 2008 Dec 03 06:52:21 +0000 |
