This had confused me during my first visit to the city. My Ranakpur Express suddenly pulled into this station before time and to confirm if this is the REAL Jodhpur or a small namesake town, I asked co-passengers if this is indeed "THE JODHPUR JUNCTION" and they gave me a blank stare! Later I realized it is NOT a "junction".

Hi,

You can't see it on this photo, but there was a crowd of people using the opportunity to leave the train, so it would have been impossible to know who actually pulled the chain...
