EBR 1926 is interesting. The line from Krishnanagar to Nabadwipghat was opened in 1926 so this point lever would most likely have been there since the line was built.

Why are all parts of running gear missing? I hope IR restores it(and not scrap it). Its sister loco is preserved in running condition in UK (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaytilston/3006736268/)
