To Anamitra - the loco seems to retain its original horn - the short trumpet of which can be seen facing vertically downwards behind the headlamps. The loco's unique horn can be clearly seen in this picture - so probably it would sound different from the other vanilla locos. Posted by Apurva Bahadur on 2010 Dec 10 06:59:32 +0000 |

Hats-off to Indian Rlys, and also to our IRFCAians who has minutely covered each and every moment of this event right from scratch....... Really good job done by Indian Railways and Indian Railways Fan Club Association ;-)) Feels so good to see the oldest work-horse returing to life again !!! Awesome. WAM1 if made fit for 110kph should be given to trains like Barbil Jan Shatabdi Express. It's just 9 coaches and whats wrong in giving WAM1. Posted by Arzan Kotval on 2010 Dec 10 04:46:32 +0000 |
