Borivali - Virar DC to AC conversion

Nice coverage. Good to see some part of WR becoming in AC traction. We will now go to Virar by only 9XX or Mrvc only. No more travel by Dc emu. Even in Dc power, BVI- VR run was good, but a major change will come, the day Dadar - Borivli stretch becomes in Ac power as lots of PSR's are there.

Folks, it is not as bad as it seems in the pic. It must be appearing this bad as the pic has been clicked against the light. And the blackening near doors at hand level is not Paan. That blackening is due to the "world class" quality of paint job.

Wow. Similar sounding names and same liveries. Truly rocking stars.

To ensure that the neutral zone stays... neutral, the inner patch of the contact wire has been electrically connected to the OHE mast to earth it. The grounding wire must have been connected during the switchover. It looks brand new.

I feel WR did the best thing by selecting Blood Red and Grey for its DC and 9xx ACDC EMU stock. atleast this shitty spikes are camouflaged by the blood red livery.
