Puneet, guess who that is?? None other than our very own Sachin Balwatkar. He along with Bharath Moro and myself were at Vaitarna that day. I was on the opposite side when your Rajdhani passed. I remember Sachin telling me that he saw somebody standing at the door and shooting with a handycam. That must have been you!!! It really is a small world...

You're absolutely right. My earliest memory is being taken " to see the engine"-which was steam then. Apparently, I burst into tears, and was taken onto the footplate to mollify me. I think I have spent my life trying to compensate for this initial fear!
