note the MU cables on the newer rakes...MU cables on EMUs are a thing of the past now in WR and CR.

even though the description says it to be 1940s, i have my doubts.. this could well be late 60s or early 70s.. (old timers correct me if wrong)

I remember traveling in the EMUs shown in the middle. The doors had extended footholds.

I am old enough to remember the "older" EMUs. I think the newer ones must have introduced somewhere in the early 60s. We used to actually give the older ones a miss to travel in the newer trains.
