Sorry for the mistake (Lottegola Halli-Banaswadi line). The mistakes have been corrected.
For those who have a doubt:- As for the line from Yeshvantpur/Lottegola Halli - Banaswadi line, the website: www.wikimapia.com provides satellite images of almost any place on the earth. Please go to this website and type yeshvantpur Railway Station in the search tab. As soon as you get the search results, click on Yeshvantpur Rly. Station and navigate with your mouse along the railway line that leads to Lottegola Halli Rly. Station. Just after Lottegola Halli Rly. Station, if you notice carefully, you can find a railway line leading to Banaswadi. So, correctly, the line to Banaswadi diverges just after Lottegola Halli Rly. Station and not from Yeshvantpur Rly. Station. Another issue: Byappanahalli also has a goods terminal (type byappanahalli in wikimapia search tab and click on the appropriate result) and this is how it is marked on the map [Byappanahalli (BYPL) Goods Terminal]. FYI - the YPR-YNK and YPR-BAND lines are two separate lines and do not connect except at YPR. On the map it may appear as double lines only because they share an alignment and NOT operation. Technicalities must also be kept in mind. Again, the line that has been mentioned as a double electrified from BYPM to the MAS-SBC mainline is again incorrect, as only a single electrified line operates from BYPM and connecting it to the MAS-SBC mainline in the direction of SBC. The dual eletrified lines join the MAS-SBC mainlines just as they enter BYPL.

Also Rohit, a line is being constructed upto Tumkur, this again will be a bi-directional dual. Didn't notice that the BYPM-MAS line didn't exist in the map above, thanks-:)

Line between SBC and YPR too is a dual bidirectional line.

Quite a few maps are aldready available today on the site of this area. Anyway, there is one more line from BYPM to BYPL so trains can go straight from the yard to MAS. Malleshwaram railway station is there between YPR and SBC.

A few corrections if I may: The non-electrified double line shown between Lottegolahalli and Yesvantpur is not a double line. They are two separate bi-directional lines that serve separate sectors. Again, the Lottegolahalli - Banaswadi line has been in operation since 2004! And the code for Bypannahalli Goods Marshalling Yard is BYPM, it is not a Goods Terminal. The Satellite Goods Terminal (SGT) is located near Whitefield (WFD).

Thanks for the map, Binai. I am sure platform 2 has the old style canopy. This platform is the original platform 1. The current platform 1 was constructed in the 1980s and at that time was numbered platform 6. Later it became platform 1 and other platfrom numbers also changed.

Thanks all of you for appreciation.
Yes Nitinbhai, yard line for MEMU ends at north level crossing. I'll correct that & put fresh exact map later.
Actually, I want to give just a rough idea to members about the "Dead zone" area at Virar as this topic ( or say thread ) repeates time to time.
