LP's undergo route learning before they can start full fledged operations on any particular section. As a result of route learning, they know each and everything about the section. So such boards are not much of a concern since LP's know exactly where it is and they know where exactly to apply brakes.

Permanent speed restriction boards are pentagonal as in the picture above.On the Ratlam-Kota section I've observed that permanent speed restriction boards for mainline are preceded by a caution indicator board and the approaching maximum speed is also painted on the caution indicator so that the driver has advance warning of at least one kilometer in which to slow down.

This is the Amravati road station. It's now termed as New Amravati. It' about 7 Kms from AMI station by road.

After a long time saw a picture of Railway station taken by a Rail fan . Excellant picture of excellant building which may be about 40 yr old or so . after seeing comment from others on rly stn ,other rail fan will also inspire to take photos of stn on railfanning trip
