Small Correction: This was the HQ of Southern Mahratta Rly, which was later converted into Karnatak University. SWR came into being only after the yr 2000.

This beautiful station building had fallen into bad state and only recently it was renovated and restored to its old glory. For some time it used to look very beautiful, now again it has started to gather dust.
