Not Karjat but Pune - look at the other picture of Pune - compare the two trees on the right, the bridge, the siding on the left.

Bombay Baroda and Central India Railway (BBCIR)

"No doubt it is great Album & As a rail fan ,I will like to have this album on IRFCA server but This album has been uploaded without any authority from Western Railway .

This material is the property of Western Railway . Western Railway have original CD which has about 847 files (681 Mb). Nobody else has scanned these files .These are simply taken from our CD.The person who handed over this CD or photo in Pendrive is not the authorised representaive of WR & the statement regarding their scanning by somebody appears to be false

western railway has not accorded any permission to any body to publish these photo . If somebody has such permission , same may be uploaded for clearing the matter .

I do not remember the canopy, but when the line was quadrupled, the entire station was moved further north. I have marked the site of the old station here http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=18.9434365&lon=72.8252578&z=18&l=0&m=s&v=9
