It was a through line - exiting from Churchgate on the south side - and going towards Colaba on the land on which we now have a row of flats. I think this is called Cuffe Parade Flats. There was a pic of a LC gate too just south of the station building.

I wonder how the line to Colaba exited Churchgate station. Was it through the main triangular roofed building seen in the first photo, or was it through its lateral flanks?

Seems to be todays Platform of no.4/5 of Kalyan Jn.
As its the widest platform on the station.

I think this picture is shot from the south west end - the tracks to the left lead to Dombivali. Probably, the signal box at the far end switched the trains towards Kasara or Karjat. Today's satellite views.
