This is heading towards NTPC's Simhadri Thermal Power Station. This rake will go on the NTPC line behind Duvvada station and will finally head to NTPC just after(?) the house of Ranga.

Nice picture, although it appears to have been clipped on sides. This passenger is quite unreliable. Couple of times when I used this train to travel between DVD and VSKP, it arrived late and partially ruined my plans of rail-fanning at VSKP!

Thats a ballast regulator machine with coach for crew/workers and flat bed for extra equipment.

Hopefully there was sufficient ambient light to watch your steps. Once I had the scare of my life when I retracted my steps at the last moment from detraining in the dark after realizing that the train was standing on a girder bridge.

Must be a UTV (Utility Transport Vehicle) of Plassir India used to load, unload or carry sleepers or tracks. There must have been a flat car in the front as well.
