why are these trains running on the wrong tracks???i mean the train on the left of the pic, shud be running on the line on which the train with the caboose is?

The last loco was dead but this was the only time we spotted 4 locos in a consist (dead or alive!). All locos are WAG5's. The earlier WAG5's had identical shells as those of WAM4's - that of ventilator grills seperated by port holes. Later WAG5's had grills running along the length of the loco.

KK Line refers to the 445 km long Kottavalsa-Kirandul iron ore carrying BG electrified single line running through the states of AP and Orissa.

the curves on the KK line are very sharp , the buffers are removed from the WAG5s as they can get locked with each other due to the sharp angle of the turn . For WAG6s this is not applicable as the distance between the locos after coupling is greater

the train was waiting for a crossing , i was using a long exposure and the headlight was very bright , thus spoiling the shot - so we asked the driver to shut it off for a few minutes

all are wag5s - do not remember seeing any WAM4s on the KK line
