Chaitanya - we took the Bangalore Raj from Bhopal to Bangalore. We had earlier taken the Shipra Express from Indore to Bhopal. We got down from the MG passenger at Indore itself and did not continue till Ratlam. You can read about all this in a trip report to be published shortly.

Patal is actually "underground", where all the demons are supposed to stay. The waters from the falls accumulate in a "kund", whose depth is supposed to reach all the way to patal.
