High ISO shouldn't have anything to do with color accuracy.

@ Binai, If that is the case then why not the other "red" objects seem "amber".

Binai, you could be right that it might be on lighter notches. Karan were you able to hear the chugging sounds of the WDM3A? If not, then the loco must be switched off and it must be the partial leftover smoke coming out. This Kazipet beauty smokes like anything and it can give good competition to Pune WDM2 & WDM3A's too. It had smoked so much after clearing caution order at Bhivpuri Road that I could not see Kaushik Dharwadkar & Bhushan Kale who were standing well ahead of me.

On many instances, LP's of WCAM's switch off the blowers right from Karjat till Palasdhari gradient and once after clearing the Palasdhari climb, Lp's of WCG2 bankers inform the Lp of WCAM3 through walkie talkie to start it and after that the LP switches on the blowers.

It was the up Deccan express towards Mumbai. I was in Pune after a long time, hence didn't know that such a spotting would be a rare experience. I was under the impression that most trains on the Pune-Mumbai route get WCG2s. Also the station was Khadki and not SVJR with a RPF guy on the patrol hence could not risk taking out the camera!

But many a mile to go before I stop and rest. This one immediately took out the Konkan Kanya on the 10th and returned with the KK on Sunday 11th.

Why the signal is still amber when the entire train has passed? or is that signal not meant for 1019?
