Whenever I see a BRC loco, I am always confuse. What is the difference between WAP4 & WAP4E? Similarly, what is the difference between WAM4D & WAM4E?

BRC_WAM4_Ferozpur_Janata.jpg

I have seen WAM 4D for the very first time. Earlier I have seen WAM4, WAM4 (6P)etc. Is there any difference in WAM4D with the other WAM4 (6P) type?
