Hanumangarh is home to many marwadi business families. I have been there in 1999 for a marwadi wedding

It would have been nice for India to go in for the Dual Gauge system as in Bangladesh, instead of Project Unigauge (my personal opinion)

Hanumangarh has a library (bookshop) devoted entirely to Hindi literature. But the Canal Loop has no Hindi equivalent name. The board says "Change trains here for Shri Ganganagar, Shri Karanpur and Nohar, Sadulpur"

Do you find spotted deer in such arid places!!!!
I thought it was only blackbucks which were seen in this part of the country.

Diarrhea, Dunes & Dual Gauging

Great album and great trip report. Thanks for reviving the memories though I did the trip later than you people. Good coverage of Canal loop, Suratgarh, and Bhatinda in two successive albums. Hopefully, these locations become most sought-out destinations for IRFCA members in future.
