It was painted in 2003-04 using high quality anti fungal washable paint. It turned out to be a costly arrair but the results were so impressive that Asian Paints approached us for permission to use the picture on their annual calendar! NDLS from Paharganj side has been done up recently too. BTW, that wheel on top is the Chakra on top of the temple dome, depicting the Sun.

Yes the entrance still exsists. The portion houses the railway mail and parcel , cloak room on PT-1 :)
