I have a query. The hill seems to terminate just a little left visible in the picture. Why couldn't engineers align the track a little left and avoid this cutting?

This was the same loco we had spotted whilst on our Adarki trip on 15th Aug'06. The loco had buffers then, and in this snap they seem to have been removed. Also, the loco's orientation was LHF then and in this snap, and was hauling a similar rake. Only however, our 1609A had crossed it at Lonand then.

Looks like the WDM-3D is also from GY and still on freight trials as this duo is in all probability moving toward BYPM from SGT.
