A major difference between the two locomotives is that #603 is fitted with Air-Brake system while #550 is still Vacuum Brake.Maybe the Neral-Matheran railway has both types of coaching stock.

Also it seems like the MG line is running on semaphores while the BG lines are running on MACL's!
