This is one of the Tata (TELCO) built locos. First time I am seeing a pic of these locos carrying their builder's logo on the boiler face. Thanks Mick for these wonderful pics.

Oh I've always loved this photo! Its been with me for a long time. I see you've colour corrected it. I have the one with all that authentic looking yellow tint ;-). Great pic. Reminds me of the Hindi Movie Lagaan too! Thanks, Stewart.

This very loco was subsequently transferred to Mhow shed and I have had the good fortune of riding on it in Jan'96 hauling a republic day special between Mhow and Ratlam! It was condemmed a few months later..
