What is purpose of cable hanging out of CAB-1 near ALP's window? I asked the same question to a loco shunter at JTJ but he couldn't answer.

I am not sure if I like this remodification except for the WAP-7 style windows. The large round headlamp in the middle with two small lightening bolts on its either sides was such a beautiful loco to look at.

@Aniket Chougule: You are correct there is indeed a video of this Locomotive (when it was purely operating on 1.5kV DC) seen banking with WCG-2's, In my opinion after viewing the duties assigned to this Locomotive, I personally don't think that it will be used for Banking duties.
