Excellent photo. This was undoubtedly the best WAP4 action of the day.Really enjoyed a close look of JHS WAP4.The loco just looks purely amazing in its Rajdhani livery. Posted by Arzan Kotval on 2007 Oct 13 08:48:34 +0000 |

Unfortunately this loco ( when it was with SRC) had a very sensitively set QD which used to lead to some uncalled for regressions at crucial moments when hauling power is required to be at it's peak. Hope the people at TATA correct this. Posted by Zubin J Dotivala on 2007 Oct 13 07:21:34 +0000 |

I think 22600 is a transfer from Santragachi shed. Can anyone confirm this? Posted by Ranjeet Ramaswamy Iyer on 2007 Oct 12 12:24:39 +0000 |

Yes doc, those are the DBR's. A question: What purpose do the red-yellow stripes serve? Is it just to keep away rust or is it meant for style? The P4 looks much healthier and powerful. Good job CLW. Nice picture mamu! Posted by Siddhartha Ganesh on 2007 Oct 10 09:55:21 +0000 |
