#6118 feel greatly sorry dude... You served a lot

Instead of scrapping the locomotives, I think IR can plinth each them in front of every major / minor station.

Eg. Steam loco MAWD 1798 (New Guwahati) plinthed in front of New Jalpaiguri Jn (NJP).

#6175 is no more...It was an MLW built YDM4

Indian Railways is pioneer in scrapping!!!! Why can't we preserve these cute locos ?

MLW built YDM4A #6192 complete view

A dual braked YDM4! Why do the Lumding YDM4s need air brake capabilities? Do MG wagons/coaches with air brakes exist - maybe just in these parts? Local railfans, please find answers.

The LMG shed deserves our respect for an excellent livery and a set of lovingly maintained powers.

You have explored one of the most important (but less known) MG Diesel Shed of Indian railways!

Outstanding capture!!!
This MLW YDM4A deserves a place in NRM as it is one of the rarest species.
Nice paint job.
