Pistons are normally Aluminium. The Block , Rings and Crankshaft are Steel. However they are still Mega & Giant size. That is why 16 of these give an HP output from 3000 to 4000 HP , depending upon the Model.

That pipe serves water to the coaches.
That beautifull Switcher Lamp gives signals to the Trains while shunting, I suppose ? This Switcher Lamp is automaticaly controled from the control Cabin. Good Picture ! .

If a keen Mechanical Engineering student is given an oppourtunity to just work in this Loco Shed free of charge for six months, he or she will have acheaved knowledge equal to a Phd in Mega Diesel Engeneering. Massive ! ! !.

Question: Doesn't the TVC Raj usually get a WDP2 on its run from BRC to TVC? Is the Ernakulam WDM2A just a last minute replacement?

Also, is it often that the TVC Raj gets a Shatabdi power car? Which is the Shatabdi with which the power car is swapped?
