Photo of a Twin KYN WCAM3 21955 with a BCNA rake passing through Kopar upper station at a very high speed.

Jimmy 3 to 4 weeks back there was a speed restriction & trains were literally crawling at 20-30kph, but yesterday they were passing at 50-55kph which is high speed action as per Kopar Road standards.

Zubin, I think you might be right. He had a diary in his hand. He jumped of the loco when it slowed down to 10kph & he vanished from there. I have seen this incident for the first time. I have also seen 2 loco pilots at the same time in WCAM1 hauling the Kutch Express.

I am also surprised. Instead of switching red marker on the rear end, he has mistakenly switched on the front side of the loco. On the rear end there were no red markers on.

It cant be the Loco pilot jumping off. I think hes a loco inspector getting off. ( Did he have a diary or bag in hand ? ) or than it could be the assistant LP getting off to get some tea. Did the train stop at the station and did that guy get back in ?

Kopar

Does trains really take good speed here? Back in 2005, they used to almost crawl through the station. What was the approximate speed? See old pic here.

Wow, what a superb shot!! Truly a picture postcard. A bit of tilting and leveling the horizon would make it even better
