Yes 1027/1028 has loco change at Pune . It get Loco from Pune to CSTM is WCG 2 or WCAM 3 same case with 2163/2164

Ashwin, you are correct. I mean to say DR-MS-DR Express
(2164/2163) For 1027/1028, same KZP loco hauls till CSTM and no loco change at Pune.

Harish , Mumbai Chennai Express ( 1041 / 1042 ) does not get (DC) Electric loco between Pune and CSTM . The WDM3a Kazipet loco itself hauls this train in Pune Mumbai section. This train has only one loco change at Renigunta (AC Electric loco). But Chennai Mumbai Mail (1027 / 1028 ) has a loco change at Pune.

Sagar, for Chennai Express, there is no link change. Chennai Express gets (AC) Electric between Chennai – Renigunta, Diesel power till Pune and (DC) electric till CSTM.
