Me and Shantanu spotted this loco with this BCNA load at the siding lines between Mulund and Bhandup the same morning. Now i guess it must be heading north of BSR.

Karan, that was posted on the mailing list (message 241797). Those observations were of Tuesday, 6th April. The train in pic is the train of 7th April. This loco brought the train to Mumbai today morning. Yesterday's failed loco might have returned dead with the same train or kept at BDTS for checking if repairs are possible.

Someone told me that the TKD WDM-3A failed and DEE GR ran with BL WCAM-1 adding to the huge list of loco links this trains has seen. The person seems to have probably cooked up a story.
BTW nice clarity considering it is a cellphone camera.

I used to travel in Dadar-Amritsar trains to Bombay for my vactaion, pulled by this locomotive. I still remember I was so fascinated by tthis locomotive, that I used to draw it as well. but when I grew up I couldnt see these engines at all.

I would love to travel to Bombay to my relatives once again in a train pulled by this locomotive.

It makes me so much nostialgic and emotional.
