AFAIK,WAG-9 locomotives can be mu'ed(with other WAG-9 only).The small connector below the headlamps is for the MU cable(These locos are highly computerized and don't require 3 thick cables like WAM4/WAG5/G7). Interestingly, WAP-7 also has this connector.Feel free to correct me !

@Binai,
AFAIK, one cannot MU locos without MU cables which is absent in a WAG9.

yups 1 WAG-9 is enough. Infact one of those few lucky days where concor is able to manage a train load for SNT

Both live! Normally one WAG-9 is enough for such a rake. Why two, I don't understand? WAG-9s can't be mued. So there must be LPs posted in both the locos.
Anyway, nice catch!
