It has no 2S but only GS; however, it has a CC always which is mostly full and then you have an extra CC many times. Ganga Gomti also has no 2S and has a CC though the rake length is shorter than Varuna.

There seems to be more GS on the train. Does it have the 2S and CC coaches?

Varuna is diesel hauled right now, but it would be not for long as once the Sultanpur line comes under wires, it is slated to be on WAP4. Also it is getting extended to CNB in the near future.

@Giridhar: I do not think train is stationary considering the smoke as well as dust.
